This gallery contains images of people I have photographed over the years. Some are women from past relationships; some are people I have met while working across the US or overseas; some are simply images of people from trips or from family events. I have 30 years of people images and never tire of viewing them. I thank all of those who have permitted me to photograph them.
Please note that some of these images may not be suitable for children.
This photo was taken in 1970.For me it is an image of beauty, innocence and sweet youth.
Is the image of a person sleeping or simply hiding from the camera? It really doesn't matter and something we cannot ever know.
This is from a trip to the Sahara in 2009. The location is Timbuktu, I fear for this young lady given what has happened there. She was a nanny, cook, housekeeper to our host and she was ever so proud,
This is an image from 2013 taken at the Space Gallery during their annual Halloween Party.
What I like about this, apart from the youth and vitality the image presents, is that only the face is in focus--and the eye goes directly to that part of the image.
Rusty was really my first model...I took a large number of photograph of her. I have no idea what happened to her and do not know if she is still alive today. I prepared a notebook of photographs to give her but could never locate her.
This image consumes me. The viewer sees the hair, head and face of a woman. I see so much more than that. Here is a person who while happy to be away from her not so ordinary existence carries the weight of it everywhere she goes.
I met Liliana in Mexico City, a bright and delightful young lady who let me photograph her.
Nude images are always a balance of taste and composure. I always see beauty in body images that are well composed yet tasteful.
